There’s something inherently broken if not altogether annoying about Facebook’s fan feature. Where else but the internet can you find a faux friend, slight acquaintance or former high school classmate sending you an e-mail suggesting you publicly profess your admiration for them and agree to accept an undefined amount of spam to further their goal?
